The small 19 bedded privately owned home has built up an enviable reputation in the community for delivering high quality and professional care in a friendly, homely environment. Our aim is to provide a safe, warm environment for our residents to enjoy.

Cherry Lodge tailors each resident’s care to their specific needs and preferences. When a new resident chooses Cherry Lodge, Lisa Cemettre, Home Manager conducts an assessment to determine the level of care needed. We also talk to the resident and their family members about likes and dislikes, hobbies, their former career, and other personal preferences. All of this data is put into the resident’s Individualised Service Plan (ISP) to ensure a personalised experience. The CP is reviewed regularly and updated as needed so the care always reflects the resident’s current needs, even as it changes.

The Home is staffed 24 hours a day by our caring highly trained professional staff, many of whom have worked for us for many years,  demonstrate their skills and commitment to our residents in a friendly caring manner.  The Home is well led, committed to encouraging our residents to continue to main their independence of choice while carry out the tasks of daily living unaided.
